If you are in Indiana and interested enough to see what we are up to over here. This is a link to my planner and we will try our best to document what/when and what wins/mistakes have been made during this process to be a better steward to the Earth.

This is not an exhaustive list, this is just what I like and am working on learning.
I am not free from error. If you have info from another source that dictates something different. Stick with the source you like.
I was asked these questions by someone that I had reached out to for help.
These would be great questions to ask yourself if you might be planning a yard similar to what we are trying to accomplish here.
I know my answers to these questions change a little bit, year after year.
- What realistically is your yearly budget?
- What is the highest priority to accomplish first? Is it trees that will take time to establish, or closest to the house, or just a detailed yearly plan? (Many different answers here but it dictates how you view the property)
- What is your end goal?
- Are you wanting straight natives, food forests, permaculture, wildflower garden, pollinator garden, or just non-harmful plants that are beneficial to the ecology?
- What have you started to do already?
