Documenting how to save and germinate the seeds from my natives and vegetable plants.

* Note*

If you love a native plant.. don't bring it inside... ever! I have tried many ways to love and nurture them inside and it has not worked out.

WINTER SOWING is the way to go. Collect seeds when the stem is brown and leave them to germinate over winter.

Blanket Flower -  Gaillardia pulchella

Common Milkweed - Asclepias syriaca

Coreopsis Lanceolata

Marigold - Tagetes erecta (not native)

You can save these seeds indoors over winter.

No cold stratification needed.
