The Woods' Efforts in Nature

Looking to document and navigate positive changes for Indiana wildlife on this 3 acres of blank(ish) canvas.

My family is doing food/permaculture with as many native plantings in between as possible. Native & a fruit/veggie is a double bonus.

Heaven on Earth = coming out the house and having breakfast, lunch, or dinner, simply by harvesting fruits & vegetables where we live.

The willow trees & pines in the picture are not native to Indiana, but we need something to replace them with before we remove them. There is no hurry though. These trees, while not native to Indiana, are not invasive.

A little help

I really struggle with the timing of when to start plants from seed and when to get things out in the garden.

Making an effort to get this calendar going to receive alerts.

This is not an exhaustive list, this is just what I like and am working on learning.

I am not free from error.

If you have info from another source that dictates something different.

Stick with the source you like.
